  With nearly 15 years of professional media experience in television, radio, newspaper and movies across Canada, Dan Savoie currently makes his home in Vancouver, British Columbia where he is currently pursuing as many creative opportunities as humanly possible.

He began his career as an editorial assistant with Rock Scene Magazine for a special publication called The Kiss Tours, as well as contributing to the hard rock radio program on CHEZ 106-FM in Ottawa. He worked as an editor for a newspaper in the TorStar chain and as a disc jockey and promo man with several radio stations.

Dan has had the opportunity to appear in an episode of Due South, the Brad Johner award-winning music video "Hello" and in an upcoming feature film Lost Souls. He also appears in Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story and the soon-to-be released feature films The Englishman's Boy airing on CBC and Ferris Wheel starring Charlize Theron. Dan has had the opportunity to act in several episodes of Disasters of the Century and Crime Stories currently airing on History Television. Behind the scenes, he has had the pleasure of working with The Rolling Stones, Black Eyed Peas, Canadian Music Hall of Fame Inductee Sylvia Tyson and Grammy Award winning singer Kevin McMillan and has been on the set of television, video and motion picture sets.

Dan has lived and traveled throughout Canada, by himself and as the manager of a large independent rock band, but settled in Vancouver in 2007.
